Uniform - Jazz/Funk and Hip Hop Students
Shoes
Black split sole Jazz shoe or boot. No street shoes allowed. Socks can be worn until appropriate shoes can be purchased.
Clothing
As of 2009 all Jazz and Hip Hop students will need to purchase a uniform. Please see below:
Girls: Black 3/4 length leggings which are available in most department stores, or black full length dance pants which can be ordered through the school. Students will also need to purchase an Energetiks dance singlet top which must be ordered through the school.
Boys: Black bike shorts which are available in most department stores, or boys full length dance pants which can be purchased through the school. A black or white T shirt or singlet will also need to be purchased preferably through the school.
Hair
Hair must be pulled off face into a neat ponytail or bun before students can participate.
NO JEWELLERY to be worn in any class. Watches distract and other items such as bracelets, necklaces and dangly earrings are dangerous to other students when dancing.
