Syllabus - Concert. Friday 17 December 2010

Dance is a Performing Art. Dance is an expression of personality, emotions and stories to an audience. Dance classes are the training and development of theses skills and performing is the culmination of these skills.

Bungendore School of Ballet provides an annual concert each year whereby students get an opportunity to showcase their dance ability and to put performance skills into practice. Please be aware that there are extra costs associated with the concert, such as costumes, hair/makeup accessories, ticket purchases and DVD sales of the concert.

Please note there is no personal filming or photography allowed at the annual concert due to copyright law and child protection issues. However, a professional videographer will be filming the concert event and DVD's are available to purchase.

Costumes

We try to ensure that costumes costs are minimized, but ballet students will expect to pay more for items such as tutus/dresses etc. There may also need to be extra rehearsal classes leading up to the concert. Students will need to pay their costume fee's in Term 1, as production of the costumes begins in Term 2. Fee's are charged on a per class basis. Fee's are refundable if your child withdraws before the end of Term 3.
